The domestic area of Glanum is concentrated at the north end of the site. A number of houses have been excavated, along with a paved street, and a public bath across the street. Although the Roman phase of the houses is what is exposed, a number of them preserve the earlier Hellenistic design with peristyle or colonnaded court at the heart of the house, and rooms facing in toward the court.
