Four intact coffins made of clay were unearthed during construction work in eastern Cyprus. The coffins are about 2,000 years old. A 2,700-year-old tomb discovered in a pyramid in southern Mexico may be the oldest pyramid tomb to be documented in Mesoamerica. The tomb was built by the Zoque Indians, and ceramics inside the tomb show influences from the Olmec culture.
