Cairo Tomb Find Volume 57 Number 6, November/December 2004

Construction workers in a Cairo slum recently uncovered a 26th Dynasty (664-525 B.C.) tomb submerged in ground water. Once the tomb was pumped, archaeologists recovered amulets, gold ornaments, and a carved sarcophagus holding a mummy.
