When They Find Atlantis
"Shall I Compare Thee to a Backfill Pile?"
April 27, 2000
by Kristin M. Romey
When they find Atlantis
Cayce's followers will feign surprise
then gloat over their prophet's predictions
once dismissed as a pack of lies.
When they find Atlantis
archaeologists will be astounded
and in countless interviews sullenly admit
Their skepticism was unfounded.
When they find Atlantis
Graham Hancock's fans will crow
and all the alien abductees
will say I told you so.
When they find Atlantis
Art Bell will jump with glee-o
and announce "Now it's time to prove
that Romans lived in Rio!"
